Frequently Asked Questions

It is a semi-permanent tattoo created with a nano blade to mimic the look of natural hair strokes by planting pigment into the hand created strokes. Semi-permanent as the pigment is only planted into the first three layers of your skin, the look is designed to look subtle and natural.

The pre procedure process includes a full consultation covering medical history and your expectations, brow shape measuring and drawing, and your approval on the shape and colour matching.

The procedure includes 3 passes of the skin. A pass is where we make a minor breakage to the skin with the microblade, creating the hair strokes and planting the pigment into the skin.

We do not use anaesthetic in the first pass to allow us to open the skin clearly. Passes two and three are done with topical anaesthetic applied, which will ease any discomfort. On these passes, we do not go any deeper on the strokes, we are simply using the microblade to push more pigment into the strokes.
Please feel free to chat to our staff before your appointment, if you have any concerns.

Microblading is a natural perfect solution for most common brow concerns. If you have thin brows, fair brows, uneven shaped brows, just want an arch in your brows or more definition to even having no brows at all, microblading to the rescue. Natural looking brows are created to suit your desired outcome by mimicking hairstrokes.

Micro-shading is used to shade in-between the hairstrokes created with microblading to thicken and give more visual dimension to the brow. For someone with no brows, microblading strokes can sometimes look obvious with no natural brow hair blending through.

After your 6 – 8 week touch up and with proper aftercare, semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing can last anywhere from 6 – 18 months.

Do wash your lashes daily with a warm water or a lash cleanser and use oil-free makeup remover. For better retention, you want to keep your lashes clean and get rid of any makeup residue or bacteria buildup that could lead to infections.

Oily skin types experience shedding at the faster rate than others- wiping your lids throughout the day is highly recommended to prevent the oil from travelling down the lashes (this applies for sweat also).

DO Brush your lashes daily to keep them looking nice and neat and always book in your infills well in advance to maintain the fullness and avoid any last-minute disappointments.

It is perfectly normal to lose 3-5 lashes a day, as our natural lashes shed on a daily basis.

Do not get your lashes wet for the first 24 hours following your appointment, including showers, steams or saunas. Also do not expose to extremely hot sun light first 12 hours.

Do not sleep on your lashes. Whichever side you sleep on more often will encounter a higher lash loss.

Do not use  any oil-based products around eye area including make-up, eye creams, serums, lotions, etc.

Do not rub, pick or pull your lashes. You will be pulling your lashes out prematurely.

Do not tint, perm or curl your lashes, as this cause damage.

Avoid wearing mascara (unless it is eyelash extension suitable, this can be purchased)

Do not come in contact with extreme heat such as ovens, blow dryers and lighters. Extreme heat exposure can damage and loosen the curl of the extensions.
